Tribute to Ernesto-Rafael Guevara, el Che. By Andrea Marino

I am proud after a long time to introduce a new portrait, which completely undermines my drawing style. This is a tribute to Che-Guevara, are not politically aligned, but I deeply respect this figure who embodied the great ideals of freedom and democracy. The technique I used was simply china, the brush strokes of spots that I simplified the portrait, which individually do not say anything, but precisely which together form the face of the commander( sorry for my English)

  

Sono fiero dopo molto tempo di presentare un nuovo ritratto, che scardina completamente il mio stile di disegno. Questo è un tributo a Che-Guevara, non sono politicamente schierato, ma rispetto moltissimo questa figura che ha incarnato grandi ideali di libertà e democrazia. La tecnica che ho utilizzato è stata semplicemente china, delle pennellate su macchie che ho semplificato nel ritratto, che singolarmente non dicono nulla, ma che insieme formano per l'appunto il viso del comandante

Un'altra meravigliosa opera di Dario Lombardo formato gigante, in ogni sua opera Dario tenta di dare profondi significati. Qui vediamo raffigurata eva tratta dalla storia biblica del peccato originale, eva qui sembra essere rapportata ai giorni nostri, tiene la mela peccaminosa in mano e il serpente le stringe il braccio destro, si può notare il trucco degli occhi sbavato come a simboleggiare il pentimento dato dalle lacrime, inoltre il crocifisso luminoso testimonia che Dio non l'ha abbandonata, tutto questo secondo il significato che Dario ha voluto dare. Chiaramente quest'opera è un olio su tela, ci vediamo alla prossima pubblicazione

Non so bene quale fosse il messaggio che Dario volesse dare con questo quadro,certo è che la bellezza di tale opera è indiscussa e ci fa capire come egli ha dato dolcezza e naturalezza alla vergine, contrapponendolo a dei tatuaggi che richiamano appunto il suo mestiere cioè il tatuatore, mi spiace non poter dire di più su questa meravigliosa opera

Questo EtnaComics mi è stato di ispirazione per un altro tributo Marvel! questo disegno è stato sfornato in 1 ora e mezza utilizzando china e Pantoni! a differenza di quelli postati precedentemente, Hulk l'ho realizzato di sana pianta senza trarre spunto da immagini già esistenti, infatti si può notare il tratto e i lineamenti del personaggio differenti da quelli originali, comunque spero che piaccia! The last EtnaComics gave me a great inspiration!This work was created in 1 hour and 30 minutes using ink and Pantones, it represent one of the most famous Marvel's characters, the incredible HULK, I made it from scratch without drawing inspiration from existing images, in fact you can see the line and the features of the character different from the original, however, I hope you like it!..(marcello)

Tribute to Andie la Rosa by Andrea Marino

What you see here is a portrait of a famous cosplayer Andie La Rosa Sicilian, I decided to pay homage with this portrait on the occasion of the festival of comics known as Sicilian Etna Comics. Andie is a girl from scratch has built its success in Europe if not more has played many characters, but one of the most famous is Kaname Chidori in the Full Metal Panic series is currently the president who founded the group Rakuen Cosplay. This work was done on paper 33x48 re adapted the techniques I used are varied, colored pencils and watercolor to start right after I finally ventured a black background with ink. This is one of three works that realization to honor guests Etna Comics. I hope you like it I'll see you at the next picture

Quello che vedete qui è un ritratto di Andie La Rosa una famosa cosplayer siciliana, decido di omaggiarla con questo ritratto in occasione del festival del fumetto siciliano noto come Etna Comics. Andie è una ragazza che da zero ha costruito il suo successo a livello europeo se non di più ha interpretato molti personaggi ma uno dei più famosi è Kaname Chidori della serie Full Metal Panic attualmente è la presidente fondatrice del gruppo Rakuen Cosplay. Questo lavoro è stato fatto su foglio 33X48 ri adattato, le tecniche che ho utilizzato sono molteplici, per iniziare matite colorate e acquarello subito dopo per finire ho azzardato uno sfondo nero con la china. Questo è uno dei tre lavori che realizzo per omaggiare gli ospiti di Etna Comics. Spero vi piaccia ci vediamo al prossimo ritratto

Tribute to Joker from the Dark Knight by Andrea Marino

With this work I want to pay tribute to Christopher Nolan's blockbuster The Dark Knight, the need to make this work comes from the need to have much material as possible for a show. This work for me is a real breakthrough because I had never used the china with the brush and tempera together, I had never been so free use of colors and in managing the design, I tried to give through the 'use of color a sense of torment and confusion, just as the subject. In summary has been done on 33x48 paper with ink, gouache, and watercolor. In memory of Heath Ledger, see you at the next job

Con questo lavoro voglio rendere omaggio al kolossal di Christopher Nolan il cavaliere oscuro, l'esigenza di realizzare questo lavoro nasce dalla necessità di avere più materiale possibile per una mostra. Questo lavoro per me è un vero salto di qualità in quanto non avevo mai usato la china con il pennello e la tempera insieme, non ero mai stato così libero nell'uso dei colori e nel gestire il disegno, ho tentato di dare tramite l'uso del colore un senso di tormento e confusione, proprio come il soggetto. In sintesi è stato fatto su foglio 33X48 con china, tempera, e acquarello. In memoria di Heath Ledger, ci vediamo al prossimo lavoro
